About This Site

What’s this site about? In a nutshell, I guess that you could say that this site provides news from home. Pretty simple concept if you think about it.

I have been away for far too long. That said, I have always managed to keep up with what’’s been going on in Twillingate.

Unfortunately, as time has passed, more and more of my family have moved away on either a seasonal or permanent basis since the fishery collapsed in the early 90′’s.

Simply put, I am beginning to loose touch with my heritage.

Then I got to thinking. Two things came to mind actually.

1) There must be more Twillingaters out there that are just like me.

2) Wouldn”t it be great if Twillingate had a Newspaper again.

And there you have it. The rest we shall say, is will hopefully be history.
